IoM Registry announces temporary measures
Births and deaths on the Island can now be certified online.
The Isle of Man Registry has introduced the temporary measure in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
It means informants no longer need to sign documents in person, but can do so through government's online services portal.
Funeral Directors can also now act as informants on the registration of deaths, if instructed to do so by a relative of the deceased.
Individuals will also be able to order and pay for the required number of certificates online during the registration process.
