The Snaefell Mountain Road is due to be closed to traffic from 10am today until not later than 2pm, so that signage for the one-way system which will operate throughout the TT period can be put in place.
When it re-opens, early this afternoon, it will be one-way in the direction of the course, from Ramsey Hairpin to Creg-ny-Baa, until 10am on Monday, June 9.
The first practice session for TT 2008 is scheduled for this evening. The mountain section of the circuit is due to close at 5pm, and the rest of the course an hour later.
There is full coverage of TT 2008 on Manx Radio TT, on our AM frequency of 1368, throughout the fortnight festival.
