Forty-two-year-old didn't have lawful reason to be out of home
A woman who broke the Island’s lockdown restrictions has been imprisoned for a month.
Forty-two-year-old Claire Keig of Demesne Road in Douglas appeared before Deputy High Bailiff Christopher Arrowsmith at Douglas courthouse.
She pleaded guilty to one count of breaching the Island’s Emergency Powers Act – the court heard she’d been found out of her home without a lawful reason on 16 April.
Mr Arrowsmith imposed a 30-day jail term.
