
It seems unlikely the one bag limit for air travellers to and from the Isle of Man will be lifted in the foreseeable future.
Ronaldsway has been given clearance to remove the restriction imposed by the United Kingdom's Department of Transport, but 90 per cent of the carriers who fly from the Island only allow one bag to be taken into the cabins of their planes.
Airport Director Anne Reynolds (pictured) says this is mostly for practical reasons, as many of them only use small aircraft.
However, she says the restriction could easily be lifted if circumstances dictated:
