Onchan woman accused of possessing offensive weapon

44-year-old remanded until next court appearance

An Onchan woman has appeared in court accused of possessing an offensive weapon.

Forty-four-year-old Lianne McKee is alleged to have committed the offence on Boxing Day.

No pleas were entered and she was remanded in custody until her next appearance on 11 January.

Update: At Douglas Courthouse on 4 January an application for bail was approved and she will next appear in court on 11 January. 

Update: At Douglas Courthouse on 11 January McKee pleaded guilty to the offence. She will be sentenced later this year. 

Update: At Douglas Courthouse on 14 March McKee was committed to the Court of General Gaol Delivery and will next appear there on 3 May.
