
The chairman of Onchan Commissioners says he’s offered a helping hand to a beleaguered board in the south of the Island.
In recent weeks, almost half the board in Port St Mary has resigned, along with the clerk, over claims things said in private have been repeated elsewhere.
In means the village has just five commissioners instead of nine.
Brian Stowell, chairman of Onchan’s local authority, says he’s offered assistance to Port St Mary until the situation there improves.
