Disagreement with direction being taken by department
An Onchan MHK says ‘differences in political opinion’ led to him leaving the Department of the Environment.
Zac Hall has departed DEFA less than a year after becoming one of its political members.
He follows in the foosteps of Chris Thomas who recently did the same.
Mr Hall says he has a good working relationship with the Minister Richard Ronan but disagrees with the direction in which the department is moving.
New Douglas North MHK Ralph Peake and MLC David Cretney are replacing them in the department.
