Inquiry opened and adjourned at Douglas courthouse
An inquest into the death of a 42-year-old Onchan man has been opened and adjourned at Douglas courthouse.
The body of unemployed painter and decorator Peter George Brown was found on Market Street in Douglas, next to Chester Street car park, on Friday, 17 January.
Coroner of Inquests Jayne Hughes read out a summary of the post mortem, which stated Mr Brown had sustained multiple injuries as the result of a fall from a high building.
Releasing his body, Mrs Hughes passed on her condolences to Mr Brown's family and friends and adjourned the inquest to a date to be fixed, as police investigations are continuing.
