Around fifty people attended a meeting in Onchan last night (Thurs) to air their concerns over the bus service in the village.
It had been called by local commissioner Rob Callister, after he'd been made aware of concerns over service levels and changes to bus routes in the current timetable.
The meeting was attended by Keith Watterson, Chair of the Road Transport Licensing committee and Kate Beecroft who has responsibility for public transport in government. Onchan MHK David Quirk and West Douglas MHK Chris Thomas were also in the audience.
Mr Callister says he felt a lot of the right people were present to hear what he believes are very genuine concerns such as the loss of the 23 service which goes all around the village also taking in the hospital.
