
Today is National Story Day and pupils at the Island's schools have lots of exciting events to look forward to.
Manx Litfest has sent a team of authors and poets to various schools across the Island hoping to inspire the children to read and write.
The troop includes performance poet Mark Grist, non-fiction author Donald Murray, and 12-year-old author Harri Sansostri
Organiser John Quirk says Litfest is all about fostering a love of the written word:
