
The Isle of Man’s Amnesty International group says Manx athletes hoping for Olympic glory in China should be aware of the country’s human rights record.
Recent protests have highlighted human rights abuses in Tibet, which is occupied by Chinese forces.
But Amnesty says it wouldn’t necessarily want athletes to boycott the games, as some in the UK have suggested.
