Funny Money to be first show at courthouse in a century

The old courthouse in Ramsey is to be used as a theatre space for the first time in 100 years.

Amateur theatre group Cloideryn are putting on 'Funny Money' this July.

The building, now owned by Ramsey Commissioners, is most well-known as the former police station - yet it started life in the late 19th century as a meeting place.

Commissioner William Hankin says the play harks back to the building's roots.

'Funny Money' runs from 3-6 July, and you can buy your tickets for £6 on the door.
