The brewery can now fully produce beer on-Island
Okell's Brewery has officially opened a brand new canning machine today (Wednesday 5 March).
It means all its beer will now be fully produced on the Isle of Man instead of being exported off-Island for the process.
The new equipment can produce 1,500 canned drinks an hour.
The state-of-the-art facility was formally opened by the Lieutenant Governor this morning.
Enterprise Minister Tim Johnston was also there and says Okell's set a great example to other Manx producers:
