Police hunt driver after crash
Police are reminding people to make sure their vehicles are for for the road – after spilt oil caused a pileup in Douglas this afternoon.
Officers say an irresponsible driver dropped their oil filter on Crellins Hill but didn't stop to pick it up or inform the authorities – creating a large slick on the steep incline.
Nobody was injured in the smash, which involved a number of vehicles, but the road had to be closed while the oil was cleaned up.
Police are now hunting those responsible and say anybody with any information should contact them on 631212.
