Company will maintain tide gauge network across British Isles
UK firm OceanWise Limited's been awarded a contract to maintain the National Tide Gauge Network across the British Isles.
This includes equipment situated at Port Erin lifeboat station, which was installed almost thirty years ago.
The pressure points, which monitor and forecast coastal surge, are mounted close to the slipway.
