Gaps still remain on some sections of course
The Chairman of the Isle of Man TT Marshals Association says numbers are improving ahead of the first practice session for the festival of motorcycling.
The newcomers sighting lap takes place on Saturday evening (22nd)
However, finding sufficient marshals for the first session is always difficult as those who come from the UK for the festival often haven't arrived on the Island.
Terry Holmes says the Saturday session is very dependent on local volunteers and there are still some gaps to be filled around the course:
Anyone interested in signing up as a marshal can do so online at iomttma.com, or call into the office at the back of the grandstand from 10am to 4.30pm.
