Gym and Spa suite remain closed
The sports halls, bowls hall and squash courts at the National Sports Centre have re-opened (midday 08/03).
The NSC was closed yesterday (Wed) after a fire in the men's gym changing rooms. No one was hurt but the changing rooms were badly damaged.
The swimming pools opened as normal this morning, but the gym and spa suite will remain closed until further notice.
An investigation into the cause of the blaze - which started in a metal locker - is being carried out.
