Candidates will have from 19-26 March to submit nomination papers
A notice of election has been published ahead of this year's Local Authorities General Election.
The document, released this morning by the Cabinet Office, confirms the schedule for next month's vote.
Candidates have from 10am next Wednesday (19 March) until 1pm on 26 March to submit their nomination papers and declaration of interests.
In areas where there are more candidates than seats, a public ballot will take place on 24 April.
Proxy and postal votes will be available for those unable to attend a polling station on the day of the election; more details are available HERE.
