Manx Care has set up a helpline for affected patients
It's not known if a pharmacy in Castletown will reopen after it was forced to close for undisclosed reasons.
Manx Care says Castle Pharmacy on Malew Street had to shut abruptly at the close of business yesterday, with the reason for the closure being kept confidential.
The Island's healthcare provider says the closure is out of its control, but that work is ongoing to minimise the disruption to patients.
Patients who collect their prescriptions from the pharmacy are being advised to make alternative arrangements. A list of alternative pharmacies can be found HERE.
A dedicated phoneline has been set up to help those impacted by the closure - those needing assistance can call 642687 between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
