Flower field now closed for the season
A sunflower farm on the Island has raised £1,000 for the Great North Air Ambulance Service this summer.
Bride Sunflowers made the announcement on social media.
The field is now closed to the public and will provide 'food and habitat for a range of wildlife'.
It has seen a short season for visitors, with the flowers 'going over quickly this year because of the dry weather'.
