Annual Boxing Day match takes place in St John's this afternoon

North will face off against South in St John's this afternoon as one of the Isle of Man's great sporting traditions makes its return.

The annual cammag match takes place on the fair field this afternoon.

Related to its fellow Celtic sports of hurling and shinty, it was once considered to be the national game here.

It'll take place after hundreds of participants finish hunting the wren this morning.

Anyone interested in taking part should get themselves a good stick and be there in time for the start of the match at 2pm.
