Work to improve the Island’s image abroad is slowly starting to pay dividends, according to Treasury Minister Allan Bell.
He says it’s been difficult to convince some countries that our regulatory system is up to scratch and the Isle of Man is open and transparent.
But Mr Bell (pictured) says a recent visit to Norway to sign tax agreements has earned us praise from an unlikely source.
The Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development – one of the Island’s harshest critics in recent times – has welcomed the agreements and complimented the Island, as Mr Bell explains:
