Nominations close later today for the vacancy on the board of Malew Commissioners.
The local authority has a seat available until April 2020.
If more than one candidate comes forward, the parish will go to the polls on Thursday, 30 November.
Forms can be collected and validated from the headquarters on Main Road, Ballasalla.
