The President of Tynwald has collected his OBE.
Noel Cringle was awarded the accolade in the Queen's New Year honours list for public service in the Isle of Man.
Her Majesty made the presentation at a ceremony in London.
Mr Cringle says he had a lovely conservation with her, and she remembered fondly her last trip to the Island in 2003, when she presided over the Tynwald Ceremony.
