Manx Care has issued a warning that Noble's Hospital is operating at OPEL 4 status - meaning the facility is operating under extreme pressure.
The healthcare body is renewing calls for residents to 'choose well' when seeking medical support.
Patients are being urged only to attend the Emergency Department if they have to, and use other options such as pharmacies or Ramsey's Minor Injuries Unit where possible.
