Overspend deemed manageable
Concerns over a potential winter crisis at Noble's Hospital have been dismissed by the Treasury minister.
It comes as NHS hospitals in England struggle to cope with rising demand, exacerbated by a particularly serious flu outbreak.
Alfred Cannan is currently leading a review into cost pressures in the Island's healthcare system.
He has also hinted more money would be allocated to the Department of Health and Social Care in next month's Manx budget, after it required an extra £9.5 million in the current financial year.
