Chief seeking 'mutual' way forward
Howard Quayle has denied a U-turn is coming over changes to scallop fishing regulations.
An announcement is due shortly, after the Chief Minister and Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon entered talks to find a 'mutually agreeable solution'.
Fishermen there have protested against a planned change to the rules, which would require licenced vessels to check in with Manx port authorities every day.
Scottish broadsheet The Herald dubbed it a 'scallop war' - Mr Quayle has branded those headlines 'sensationalist'.
He says discussions with the SNP leader have been 'very friendly':
