No possibility for Manx residents to vote
Chief Minister Allan Bell says he can't see any reason the Isle of Man would take part in an EU referendum.
This morning in Tynwald he faced questions about the in/out vote which the UK is expected to hold by 2017.
Mr Bell explained because of the Island's unique position in Europe, it wasn't possible to predict what effect an "out" vote in a UK referendum might have.
He confirmed there was no possibility Manx residents could vote in a referendum being held in a different country.
Mr Bell said he can't understand why people here would want to take part.
