Problem scheme still not completely finished
The leisure pool and new flume rides at the National Sports Centre will remain closed for the time being.
However, the main pool and changing rooms will reopen by mid-August.
They are expected to be handed over to the Department of Education on Friday, 2 August, which will then test the facilities as well as train staff.
The department is continuing to talk to the flume manufacturer and installer to resolve the issue.
Political member Lawrie Hooper details the problems they are trying to fix:
Smile of Mann programme to start in primary schools next year
Loganair passengers yet to be reunited with bags left in Manchester on Sunday
Kirk Michael man taking on 31 marathons in 31 days in memory of friend
