Consumer habits changing beyond counter
The Isle of Man Post Office is blaming 'changing customer preferences' for the closure of one of its branches.
Foxdale Post Office, currently based in the EVF filling station in the village, will cease operations at the end of August.
Bosses say it's been losing money for a number of years, as more and more residents carry out their business online.
Talks are ongoing to set up an automated electronic kiosk in the store - but around 60 regular customers face losing the local service.
