CEO doubts there will ever be the money to do so
There are no plans for Manx Care to buy its own helicopter.
Currently, the Great North Air Ambulance provides advanced medical care in emergency situations on the Island.
Patients are then either taken to Noble's Hospital or off-Island depending on the level of care they need.
But Manx Care's chief executive, Teresa Cope, says it's unlikely the healthcare provider will buy one itself:
