Group has asked about contingency plans
Travewatch say they've been "expecting something to happen" with FlyBe for sometime.
The airline has put itself up for sale, after a profit warning and an expected loss of £12 million for this financial year.
Terry Liddiard, who speaks for the group on aviation matters, says they have asked government about contingency plans for the Island, in the event of the loss of the routes flown by FlyBe, but are yet to receive an answer.
He believes it's difficult to identify many potential buyers.
