Tynwald's legal adviser 'must remain politically neutral'
There's no need for the Attorney General to continue to sit in the Legislative Council.
That's from a Tynwald committee examining the position - recommendations for change will be presented to this month's sitting.
The panel believes the legal advisor needs to be politically neutral.
Chair of the committee, and MLC, Jane Poole-Wilson says the Attorney General's current duties aren't compatible with this:
Memorial services to mark 53rd anniversary of Summerland Disaster
Internet provider to increase prices next month
People with 'lived experience' of autism urged to help shape services
Thie Clag could've been leased to Manx Care
