No Lib Vann comment on candidate's court appearance

The Liberal Vannin Party leader is remaining tight-lipped after one of the party's general election candidates appeared in court yesterday.

Nigel Dobson admitted a charge of driving whilst disqualified

Manx Radio has tried to contact party leader Peter Karran for a comment, but he would not take our call.

Mr Dobson is standing in the constituency of Garff, where he's up against Steve Rodan.

Mr Karran is one of six candidates in Onchan, the others being Adrian Earnshaw, Zac Hall, June Kelly, David Quirk and Brian Stowell.
