High Tilt looks to expand business
A farm in the west wants to get more people interested in goats.
High Tilt Farm in Kirk Michael has unveiled plans for a major overhaul of its premises, pending the approval of government planners.
The proposals include a new goat rearing buiding, along with dairy and butchery facilities.
Homegrown angora goat meat, cheeses and even mohair knitwear will be sold onsite in a café and farm shop.
Parts of the site will also be opened to visitors and groups of schoolchildren for guided tours.
Owners predict it will create up to ten new jobs.
