But Hooper urges people to notify practice if they can't attend
The health minister has confirmed he has no plans to start charging Manx residents for GP appointments.
Lawrie Hooper made the statement whilst answering questions this morning about appointments missed during the first six months of this year.
According to figures, 7,222 appointments were missed locally during that period.
Mr Hooper says Manx Care will be putting out more public messages to highlight this issue:
Warning over flare disposal after amenity site fire
Owner of a block of flats fined for failing to meet fire safety regulations
Review of taxi fares extended to assess impact of Middle East conflict
Liverpool ferry terminal closed again this weekend
