No food vouchers for struggling families over TT and summer holidays

DESC says it's due to 'positive progress' in Covid recovery

Food vouchers will not be provided to children over TT week or the summer holidays.

The Department of Education, Sport and Culture says it has no plans to repeat last year's additional support for struggling families.

That decision was revealed in Tynwald this week by department member Ann Corlett who claimed it was because of the 'positive progress' made in recovering from the pandemic:
