Hope for horse tram stock deal soon
The leader of Douglas Council has rubbished suggestion of a rift between the local authority and the Department of Infrastructure.
David Christian insists discussions with the DoI are ongoing when it comes to the horse trams and there's a good working relationship.
He's confident a deal can soon be completed to sell the rolling stock and equipment to the department, and says any hint of a dispute between the two bodies couldn't be further from the truth:
