
The Education Minister has stressed there will be no cutbacks in services in the Island's schools, despite a need to balance the books.
Anne Craine says she can't rule out redundancies altogether but hopes any need to reduce or change staff levels can be met through 'natural wastage' ie. retirements, or moving people.
Also of concern are the falling numbers at schools in the south of the Island.
Mrs Craine says that's significant for their finances, particularly for Castle Rushen High School.
