DESC awaiting report from contractors
Costs related to repairs to tiling in the main swimming pool at the National Sports Centre have yet to be finalised.
That's according to the education, sport and culture minister who was quizzed on the topic at this week's House of Keys sitting (Tuesday 6 February).
Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse wanted to know how much it will cost to repair the broken tiles in the pool, and the timeline of the repairs.
The tiles were replaced as part of the major refurbishment of the NSC in 2018, but lanes of the pool have now had to be shut 'on safety grounds'.
