No airmail on Island today

Mail plane has technical fault overnight

There's no airmail on the Island today.

The Post Office says it's down to a technical fault on last night's mail plane.

It means priority mail, including Special Delivery and Parcelforce 24 items, will not have been received and will therefore not be delivered today.

Items which have come via the boat and have been received as usual, and these will be delivered as normal, as will any local mail.

The Post Office has apologised for any inconvenience.
