Ninth year for seed swap event

Event at Laxey Sailing Club

Gardeners have the chance to get involved in a Seed Swap and Plant Share today.

Those attending can donate any extra or unwanted vegetable, plant or flower seeds, in return for taking a new packet - all for a 10p donation.

The event is in its ninth year and will be taking place between 1-3pm at Laxey Sailing Club.

Local organisation Lovely Greens says it's an "inexpensive way" of picking up seeds, and "clearing out the garden shed."

It's also encouraging people to donate pre-loved gardening books and tools.
