
Police say the recent seizure of £10,000 worth of illegal substances sends out a clear message to the criminal fraternity in the Isle of Man.
Acting inspector Steve Maddox says the sum involved is substantial and shows the Constabulary will continue to do everything it can to combat drug dealing.
Operation Deflect took place over six days last week and targeted addresses across the Island.
It resulted in the arrest of 17 people, of whom nine have been charged, six released on bail, one cautioned and one released without charge.
