Nine candidates are now standing in Glenfaba and Peel in September's General Election.
Mark Cleator intends to stand for the new political party, Change.
The party's priorities include reforming government, housing and a stronger economy.
Also standing in the constituency are Katryna Baptist, Trevor Cowin, Colleen Dale-Beeton, Daniel Davison, James Hampton, Ray Harmer, Alex Perriam and Geoffrey Pugh.
The General Election is taking place on Thursday 24 September.
