Scheme is open for a period of two years
Nine applications have been received so far for the Department for Enterprise's Island Infrastructure Scheme.
The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to property developers who plan to build on designated brownfield sites.
It is open for a period of two years, from 3 January 2023 to 31 December 2025, and offers a financial support, by way of a grant and/or loan, towards development projects of up to 25% of eligible expenditure.
The first round of applications is now closed, with formal assessment of applications ongoing.
It opened on 3 January 2023 and closed on 1 April 2023.
During this time, the Department received nine applications from ten applicants (one applicant applied twice).
