
A man from the United Kingdom accused of inflicting grievous bodily harm has been remanded in custody.
Twenty-one-year-old Nicolas John Gilman, of Buxton in Derbyshire, appeared before the deputy high bailiff accused of assaulting Karl John Staniford in the Fiesta Havana nightclub.
Prosecutor Rachel Braidwood said the case would go to a Court of General Gaol and asked for Mr Gilman to be remanded in custody.
He will appear in court again next Tuesday.
