The clock is ticking down to New Year's Eve and to a possible ban and even jail for those who take the risk of driving after drinking.
After the usual intensive campaign, with hundreds of cars being stopped, the numbers arrested for drink driving look like being well up on last year, and that's despite the extensive press campaign.
