Drivers now required to stop for red light while tram crosses
Changes have been made at the tram crossing at the Bungalow on the Mountain Road following a recent review.
A traffic light controlled level crossing with stop lines has replaced the previous give way markings.
Traffic lights will now show red when a Snaefell Mountain Railway tram is about to cross, instead of the amber warning lights previously used at the Bungalow.
The Department of Infrastructure says the change comes following consultation with the Isle of Man TT, and won't have an impact on the races.
