Isle Stand up to Suicide responding to increase in people seeking help
A new charity that will focus on suicide prevention on the Isle of Man is launching today (6 October).
Isle Stand up to Suicide will provide support to anyone who finds themselves in crisis.
A dedicated telephone hotline will open from 2pm tomorrow (Saturday, 7 October).
Sixty volunteers have already been trained in Question, Persuade, Refer - of QPR - suicide prevention training.
