Full printed records of the proceedings of Tynwald can now be made available on the day a sitting takes place, thanks to new voice recognition computer software.
It was first put on trial last month and is seen as a big step forward for the Hansard Department.
This morning President of Tynwald Noel Cringle (pictured) told members its use during yesterday's sitting was a great success:
